Family Friendly Session – all ages welcome!

Join our new ‘Green Team’ of conservation volunteers led by our Green Spaces staff members: Helen, Brandon & Chloe.

This month we are concentrating on Himalayan Balsam removal in Hollins Wood. The patch we will concentrate on for Saturday’s session is easily accessible and therefore good for children to have a go! We will provide gloves, high-vis and hand sanitiser. Make sure to wear sturdy boots, a long sleeved top and long trousers as we will be working around nettles and brambles. Wellies aren’t required but may be useful!

There will be a short break for lunch, so bring some food and plenty of water.
