Electrofishing Demonstration by the RRT at Brookside
Friday, July 26, 2024 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join our Brookside Restoration Coordinator Alice for an electrofishing demonstration by the Ribble Rivers Trust.
It might sound scary, but electrofishing is a vital method of surveying fish populations and it doesn’t harm the fish! The RRT will be giving a talk about the technique, how it is used, and giving a demonstration in Lottice Brook.
The meeting point is the Kemp Delph entrance to Brookside, on Stanhill Road. Staff will be in orange hi-vis.
Limited parking is available but please consider taking public transport – the 6A and 7A bus stop right by the gate!
