Collecting pea sticks for weaving at Rothwell Heights Willows Lane

Join our Community TreeACTION Officer Helen for a practical session at the Forest School inside the Rothwell Heights Woodland, coppicing small poles of Hazel to make hazel hurdles at Bullough Community Woodland later in the month. Secondary tasks include helping our friends at Adventure Hyndburn with some dead hedging on site.
We will be meeting outside Rothwell Heights, on Willows Lane, Accrington, BB5 3SS – Google Maps Link HERE (w3w///polka.thick.view). On street parking available. Staff will be in orange high-vis.
- Everyone welcome. Under 18s will need to be accompanied by an adult
- Please wear suitable outdoor clothes and sturdy boots
