Join project officer Brandon Cherry for an afternoon at the wonderful Brookside site for a woodland craft day!

We’ll be using traditional tools such as Froe’s to split and shape locally sourced Hazel into your very own wooden mallet! We’ll then utilise the mallet (and whittling knives) to create spatulas!

We meet at the Noticeboard by the Stanhill Road entrance to the site at 10am – see the map below.

All are welcome but under 18s must be supervised by an adult.

Waterproofs, boots, and sturdy clothes are highly recommended.

Access can be uneven and boggy, so these sessions are not suitable for those with limited mobility. We suggest that participants should be comfortable walking for 15 minutes unaided.
