Join our ‘Green Team’ of conservation volunteers led by our Green Spaces staff members: Helen, Brandon & Chloe.

This week we will be at Whinney Hill West scything around the pond to reduce the amount of nutrients which leach into the water.

Tools, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots (ideally hardened toe-caps), long sleeves and full length trousers. Prepare to get a bit mucky!

We will be meeting at the end of Livingstone Road, BB5 5BS (next to the Livingstone Road allotments). There is parking available on the car park. Staff will be wearing an orange hi-vis.
