Join our ‘Green Team’ of conservation volunteers led by our Green Spaces staff members: Helen, Brandon & Chloe.

This week we will be at Woodnook Vale carrying out a litter pick at the Nuttall street entrance which has gathered a fair amount of rubbish! There will be a secondary task of balsam bashing if we have time left over.

Tools, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots (ideally hardened toe-caps), long sleeves and full length trousers. Prepare to get a bit mucky!

We will be meeting by the entrance on Nuttall Street in Accrington (across from Pappous Greek Grill), BB5 2HW. There is on street parking available. Staff will be wearing an orange hi-vis.
