Join Louise Kirkbride for a 2-day Introduction to Walling Course!

Learn the basics for drystone walling in this two-day course at Hollins Wood (part of Woodnook Vale LNR). Drystone walls are not only functional and aesthetically beautiful, but also provides unique refuge for native wildlife. They have been built by farmers for more than three millennia, dating back to the Bronze age. That’s why it is so important to keep this traditional skill alive!

In order to complete the training you MUST attend both days.

For ages 16+

We will be meeting by the school on Hollins Lane, BB5 2LD. There is on street parking available. Staff will be wearing an orange hi-vis.
