This week we’ll be helping our friends from the Lancashire Wildlife Trust in managing the Hazel coppice at Foxhill Bank Nature Reserve in Oswaldtwistle.

The work will involve regenerating a stand of hazel coppice to encourage the hazel stools to grow new rods and also to help encourage more ground flora in the stand.

We’ll be meeting at 9.30am in the Mill Hill car park and then walking through the site to the hazel coppice which is at the Foxhill Bank Brow end of the site.  You can either meet us at Mill Hill at 9.30am or meet us at the work area at 9.45am.
