Join us at Leeds and Liverpool Canal bridge #114  – Victoria Street the A680, Whalley Road, Clayton-le-Moors.  Weeding and pruning shrubs at the entrance steps from Whalley Road, mooring areas and the gated entrance on Victoria Strret.   Painting etc is also required but is subject to the weather conditions on the day.  We may be able to remove items from the canal – size and weight will determine this.  There will be litterpicking between the two bridges on either side of Bridge #114.  This session is in response to information supplied from the general public about magnet fishing and general litter and waste.  We will also be putting posters in the triangular information board for C&RT, PROSPECTS and community groups.

Tea, coffee and biscuit refreshments are supplied. All tools and gloves are provided but you can bring your own gloves. Safety equipment provided.  Please wear suitable outdoor clothing, strong shoes or boots and bring your lunch.
