Looking to create some natural and plastic-free festive decorations this winter? Our family-friendly Tuesday crafting evenings have you covered! All sessions will use materials harvested from local green spaces for the purpose of conservation, meaning the crafts will be good for you and for nature. To top it all off, we will have warm mulled punch (0%) and mince pies to get you in the festive spirit, all for free!

For this session we will be doing a winter classic, wreathes! The wreath bases will be constructed from willow and decorated with evergreen tree branches.

The materials will be selectively harvested from patches of woodland that will benefit from thinning. Thinning in dense woodlands allows for more light to reach the woodland floor, encouraging a wider variety of wildflowers, shrubs, and trees to grow, improving biodiversity.

Event Location: @The PROSPECTS Shop, 54 Broadway, Accrington, BB5 1EW
Date: Tuesday 24th November | Time: 6:30pm – 8pm

PLEASE NOTE: We will be prioritising new attendees who have not made a wreath with us in the past. This is to keep it fair for all.

Booking is Essential: helen.earnshaw@prospectsfoundation.org.uk or call (01254) 23048.

The Suggested Donation for this session is £10
