Join project officer Brandon Cherry for weekly conservation at Brookside!

This week, we’ll be continuing with the coppicing work that needs doing around the site. Tasks include small tree felling, processing coppiced material for use in later sessions, and potentially building ‘Dragon’s Nests’ if we have time.

We meet by the entrance gate on Nook Lane, BB5 3QP. Please wait just outside the gate if you are driving, I’ll need to open it up before we can enter.

All are welcome but under 18s must be supervised by an adult.

Waterproofs, boots, and sturdy clothes are highly recommended.

Access can be uneven and boggy, so these sessions are not suitable for those with limited mobility. We suggest that participants should be comfortable walking for 15 minutes unaided.
