Rhody Removal and Heathland Management – Hyndburn’s Nature Reserve Volunteers session @Peel Park and the Coppice LNR

We will be removing the Invasive Non-Native Species (INNS) Rhododendron from the heathland, afterwards we will be removing birch regen and other scrub to promote the growth of Heather, Bilberry, Crowberry, and other heath species.
Join us for our new Hyndburn’s Nature Reserves project! There will be weekly conservation volunteers sessions at Peel Park and the Coppice Local Nature Reserve, every Monday from 10am – 1pm. Come along to learn new skills, meet people, keep fit and help wildlife!
