Butterfly Bank Tidy & Coppicing – Hyndburn’s Nature Reserve Volunteers session @Peel Park and the Coppice LNR
Monday, November 17 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

As the growing season has come to end, it is time to tidy up the butterfly bank for it is ready for next year! We will be cutting long vegetation and weeding to prevent the build-up of nutrients and undesirable species from taking hold. There are also some trees that need coppicing along the path above Pleck Meadow.
Join us for our new Hyndburn’s Nature Reserves project! There will be weekly conservation volunteers sessions at Peel Park and the Coppice Local Nature Reserve, every Monday from 10am – 1pm. Come along to learn new skills, meet people, keep fit and help wildlife!
