Join our Brookside Development Office Alice and Roger “The Batman” Cunliffe for a Sooktactular Bat Walk at Brookside this Halloween!  Bring your very best costumes to be in with a chance of winning a prize!

Come and learn all about these magical little creatures, and hopefully see them in action at Brookside. We will be using special bat detectors, which convert bat calls to a frequency that humans can hear, and you’ll be amazed how many we find flying around as the sun sets!

Some things to note:

• This is a family friendly event, under 18s must be supervised by an adult
• Please wear suitable, warm outdoor clothes and sturdy boots (wellies are advised)
• The route will be on paths but these can be boggy and rutted. The route is unsuitable for mobility aids.
• Head torches and handheld torches are advantageous. A number of spares will be available.
