Join the Hyndburn’s Woodlands Volunteers for weekly practical conservation sessions.

This week, we will be at Woodnook Vale carrying out some safety felling on small trees near the path. Felled trees will be processed and stacked into habitat piles.

Tools, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy steel-toe capped boots, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles. Waterproofs may be needed, depending on the weather.

We will be meeting on Nuttall street, BB5 0PJ (just opposite Pappous Greek Grill) . There is on-street parking available. Staff will be in orange hi-vis.
