Join the Hyndburn’s Woodlands volunteers and project officer Brandon Cherry for practical conservation work, including invasive species control.

This week we will be heading back to Whinney Hill to carry out some verge maintenance and trim back overgrown vegetation, along with a balsam bash.

Tools, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles.

We will be meeting at the Thorneyholme Road entrance in Accrington, BB5 6BD. There is on street parking available. Staff will be wearing an orange hi-vis.
