SUMMARY:Bug Hotel Making at Oak Hill Park Tool Store - Green Team Volunteering
DESCRIPTION:Join our ‘Green Team’ of conservation volunteers led by our Green Spaces staff members: Helen\, Brandon & Chloe. \nThis week we will be at the Oak Hill Park tool store creating bug hotels that will feature as Prospects’ activity at the upcoming Eco Fest 2023! Tasks will include sawing\, countersinking\, sanding\, creating bamboo lengths\, drilling logs\, and setting up hotels. \nTools\, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots (ideally hardened toe-caps)\, long sleeves and full length trousers. \nWe will be meeting at the Oak Hill Park tool store. Parking is available on 113 Manchester Rd\, Accrington\, Lancashire BB5 2NY. After passing through the entrance gates the store is a short walk uphill.
