SUMMARY:Community Tree Nursery session - Tree seed sowing
DESCRIPTION:Join our Community TreeACTION Officer Helen for a practical session at our new ‘Tree Nursery’ Allotment at Miller Fold! \nWe will be sifting through the stratifying seeds (rowan\, guelder rose & spindle) and seeing which have sprouted and are ready to be planted. We’ll be putting these pots into a rodent-proof tree box to keep the trees safe! \nWe will be meeting at the small car park at the top of Miller Fold Avenue\, Accrington\, BB5 0NT (more on-street parking available once the car park is full). Google maps link HERE. \nPLEASE NOTE: Site Accessibility – there is a short walk from the cars down a very uneven road. The allotment itself has bad access; the path down to the entrance is steep and overgrown! Wear good footwear and non-snag clothing.  \n\nEveryone welcome.
