SUMMARY:Jubilee - Hyndburn's Woodlands
DESCRIPTION:Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week\, we will be at Jubilee Woodland taking part in some meadow creation! This year\, we have hired a contractor to give the meadow a deep cut which will hopefully improve the amount of wildflower seeds which grow. Tasks include sowing wildflower seeds into the freshly cut meadow. \n\n\nTools\, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots\, long sleeves and full length trousers. \nWe will be meeting on Hollins Lane\, BB5 2QY (Just next to The Hollins School) . There is on-street parking available. DESCRIPTION:Join our Community TreeACTION Officer Helen for a practical session changing tree protection tubes at Bullough Park in Accrington. This will prevent the young trees from being eaten by small rodents and larger mammals such as deer. \nWe will be meeting at the main car park off Dunny Shop Avenue\, Accrington\,  BB5 0LW. Staff will be in orange hi-vis. \n\nNo experience is necessary – just bring your enthusiasm!\nAll ages welcome.
