SUMMARY:Whinney Hill - Hyndburn's Woodlands
DESCRIPTION:Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions\, this week we will be at Whinney Hill woodland\, carrying out some non-native tree felling and general thinning works to open up the crowded canopy. \nTools\, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots\, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles. Waterproofs may be needed\, depending on the weather. Please remember to bring warm items of clothing e.g.\, hats\, gloves\, extra thick socks\, spare fleeces/jackets. \nWe will be meeting at the end of Livingstone Road\, BB5 5BS (next to the Livingstone road allotments). Staff will be in orange high-vis.
