DESCRIPTION:Join our Community TreeACTION Officer Helen for a practical session at our new Tree Nursery Allotment at Miller Fold! \nThis week we’ll be doing general jobs such as weeding\, balsam bashing\, cutting back shrubs\, watering the trees and potentially potting on some seedlings. \nWe have camping chairs on site. Please bring snacks and plenty of drinking water. \n📍 We will be meeting at the bottom of Miller Fold Avenue\, at the gate before it turns right to the Riding Centre. Google maps link HERE. The track down has potholes and loose stones\, we do not advise driving down unless absolutely necessary. Parking location below\, please note it takes about 5 mins to walk down to the meeting point. \n🚗 Please park at the small parking bay at the top of Miller Fold Avenue\, Accrington\, BB5 0NT (more on-street parking available once the car park is full). Google maps link HERE. \nSite Accessibility – there is a short walk from the cars down an uneven road. The allotment itself has lots of steps. Wear good footwear and non-snag clothing.  \n\nEveryone welcome. DESCRIPTION:Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. \nThis week we will be at Whinney Hill woodland creating Hazel Hurdles at the butterfly glade at the top of Whinney Hill!
