DESCRIPTION:Join Alice for seasonal habitat improvement work (and of course\, biscuits!) at Brookside. \nWe meet at the Noticeboard by the Stanhill Road entrance to the site at 10am – see the map below. \n \nAll are welcome but under 18s must be supervised by an adult. \nWaterproofs\, boots\, and sturdy clothes are highly recommended. \nAccess can be uneven and boggy\, so these sessions are not suitable for those with limited mobility. SUMMARY:Community Tree Nursery - Looking After Wildflowers and Balsam Bash
DESCRIPTION:Join our Hyndburn’s Nature Reserves Project Officer Robert for a monthly session at our Community Tree Nursery! We will be looking after the wildflowers we have been growing and clearing some Himalayan Balsam. \nWe will be meeting at the small car park at the top of Miller Fold Avenue\, Accrington\, BB5 0NT (more on-street parking available once the car park is full). Google maps link HERE. Meet at 10am. Robert will be at the Tree Nursery until 3pm\, but you can leave at any point during the session. Please bring lunch if you would like to stay till 3pm! \nPLEASE NOTE: Site Accessibility – there is a short walk from the cars down a very uneven road. The allotment itself has bad access; the path down to the entrance is steep and overgrown! Wear good footwear and non-snag clothing.  \n\nEveryone welcome.
