SUMMARY:Climate Action & Me - Nature Based Solutions Seminar
DESCRIPTION:Climate change and biodiversity loss are both accelerating at a frightening rate\, and it’s more important than ever that we take action within our own homes and communities. Luckily\, nature is on our side – from the smallest wildflower lawn to the Amazon rainforest\, healthy ecosystems are the key to solving some of the greatest challenges of our time. \nJoin Abigail Gunson from the Ribble Rivers Trust and Brookside Restoration Officer Alice Pooley at the Stanhill Social Club on May 6 for a free seminar all about how we can use nature-based solutions in our homes\, at Brookside\, and beyond! \nThis event is part of the Brookside Restoration Initiative. The Brookside master plan involves several kinds of nature-based solutions\, many of which we will be discussing at this event. \nDoors will open at 7pm for a 7:30pm start. \nTickets are available on Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/climate-action-me-nature-based-solutions-to-climate-change-free-seminar-tickets-1987397869527
