DESCRIPTION:Join our Community TreeACTION Officer Helen for a practical session at our new ‘Tree Nursery’ Allotment at Miller Fold! \nWe will be planting acorns. We have camping chairs on site\, but please bring snacks and plenty of drinking water. \nWe will be meeting at the small car park at the top of Miller Fold Avenue\, Accrington\, BB5 0NT (more on-street parking available once the car park is full). Google maps link HERE. \nSite Accessibility – there is a short walk from the cars down a very uneven road. The allotment itself has bad access; the path down to the entrance is steep and overgrown! Wear good footwear and non-snag clothing.  \n\nEveryone welcome. SUMMARY:December 2025 Crafting Evenings #3 | Natural Xmas Tree Decorations
DESCRIPTION:Looking to create some natural and plastic-free festive decorations this winter? Our family-friendly Tuesday crafting evenings have you covered! All sessions will use materials harvested from local green spaces for the purpose of conservation\, meaning the crafts will be good for you and for nature. To top it all off\, we will have warm mulled punch (0%) and mince pies to get you in the festive spirit\, all for free! \nIn this session we will be using a variety of natural materials to craft hanging decorations which can be hung around the house or on your Xmas tree! \nThe materials will be selectively harvested from patches of woodland and heathland that will benefit from thinning.
