Everyone welcome. \nLocation: Miller Fold Community Allotment\, off Woodview Drive\, BB5 ONT \nMeeting place: The junction between Woodview Drive and Miller Fold Avenue (what3words: stooping.conquests.topping) \nAccess is along a narrow\, uneven path from Woodview Drive. DESCRIPTION:Join our Community TreeACTION Officer Helen for a practical session at our new ‘Tree Nursery’ Allotment at Miller Fold! \nWe will be weeding\, cutting back\, pulling balsam and doing a general tidy (getting ready for the celebration evening Thurs 3rd 6pm-8pm). We have camping chairs on site\, but please bring lunch and plenty of drinking water. \nWe will be meeting at the small car park at the top of Miller Fold Avenue\, Accrington\, BB5 0NT (more on-street parking available once the car park is full). Google maps link HERE. \nPLEASE NOTE: Site Accessibility – there is a short walk from the cars down a very uneven road. The allotment itself has bad access; the path down to the entrance is steep and overgrown! Wear good footwear and non-snag clothing.  \n\nEveryone welcome. Join Robert for short walk at the Northern Gateway where PROSPECTS has been managing the space as a wildflower patch for over 3 years. \nThe area is now full of Bird’s-foot-trefoil\, Common Knapweed\, Oxeye Daisy\, Common Vetch\, Yellow Rattle and more! \nThe Northern Gateway has a highly accessible ramp around the meadow area which is perfect for prams\, wheelchairs\, and anyone who struggles to walk long distances. The Friends Of Arden Hall & The Coppice will be doing some weeding after the walk if you would like to stay to help. \n\nDate: Wednesday 2nd July 2025\nTime: 6:30pm\nWalk length: 5 minutes\, but there will be plenty of wildflowers to stop and look at!\nLocation: We will be meeting at the Peel Park & the Coppice sign at the Northern Gateway\, at the top of Peel Park Avenue. There is a car park next to the Peel Park Bowling Club green.\n\nUnder 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
