DESCRIPTION:Join Sonja to learn new gardening skills\, socialise\, and relax in nature while supporting our productive community allotment! \nWe’ll be laying some more brick paths between the beds in the garden. Plus the usual weeding\, watering\, and seed sowing. \nNo experience is needed. Snacks\, hot drinks\, and a warm welcome at each session! Everyone welcome. \nLocation: Miller Fold Community Allotment\, off Woodview Drive\, BB5 ONT \nMeeting place: The junction between Woodview Drive and Miller Fold Avenue (what3words: stooping.conquests.topping) \nAccess is along a narrow\, uneven path from Woodview Drive. SUMMARY:Green Woodwork - Free Workshop in the Forest
DESCRIPTION:Ever wanted to try your hand at woodwork but never knew where to start? \nLooking to find out more about sustainable forestry? \nJust fancy a few hours in the woods at sunset? \nWhatever your motivation\, join us for a demonstration of pole lathing and a chance to have a go at various green woodwork techniques. This event is totally free\, and suitable for beginners. \nWe meet at the Noticeboard by the Stanhill Road entrance to the site at 5pm  (see the map below) \nIf you want to attend later in the session\, please contact Alice for the exact location. \n \nAll are welcome but under 18s must be supervised by an adult. \nWaterproofs\, boots\, and sturdy clothes are highly recommended. \nAccess can be uneven and boggy\, so these sessions are not suitable for those with limited mobility. \nPlease consider taking the bus!
