DESCRIPTION:Join Sonja in our productive Community Garden to make wooden bird feeders and rejuvenate our ageing bug hotel!\nOpen to ages 5+. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult please. \nNo expereice needed – everyone is welcome. Snacks and warm drinks will be provided. \nOpen to all ages (5+). Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. \nLocation: Miller Fold Community Allotment\, off Miller Fold Avenue\, Accrington\, BB5 ONT\nMeeting place: The junction between Woodview Drive and Miller Fold Avenue (what3words: stooping.conquests.topping)\nDate: Tuesday 18th February\nTime: 10am – 1pm \nAccess is moderate with some unseen slip/trip hazards underfoot\, however there are places to sit on the allotment. There is no toilet on site.\nPlease wear robust footwear and bring plenty of layers. DESCRIPTION:Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week\, we will be back at Whinney Hill woodland carrying out a fly-tipping removal session. A large amount of fly-tipping has accumulated near to the Thorneyholme Road entrance to the site. We will be utilising wheel barrows to remove much of this waste. \n\n\nTools\, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots\, long sleeves and full length trousers for brambles and nettles. \nWe will be meeting at the Thorneyholme Road entrance to the site\, BB5 5FW. There is on-street parking available.
