DESCRIPTION:Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week\, we will be at Huncoat East woodland carrying out some maintenance work. A portion of the fence has been damaged and requires replacing. Secondary tasks include carrying out some Invasive Non-Native management in Huncoat West. \nTools\, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots\, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles. Waterproofs may be needed\, depending on the weather. \nWe will be meeting at the layby on Altham Lane\, BB5 5US. What3Words location for the site is lease.mount.fade. Staff will be in orange hi-vis. DESCRIPTION:Join our Hyndburn’s Nature Reserves Project Officer Robert for a Tree Nursery restoration session! We will be cleaning the greenhouses so that we have indoor space for growing wildflowers! \nWe will be meeting at the small car park at the top of Miller Fold Avenue\, Accrington\, BB5 0NT (more on-street parking available once the car park is full). Google maps link HERE. Meet at 10am. Robert will be at the Tree Nursery until 3pm\, if you would like to stay later than 1pm then bring lunch! \nPLEASE NOTE: Site Accessibility – there is a short walk from the cars down a very uneven road. The allotment itself has bad access; the path down to the entrance is steep and overgrown! Wear good footwear and non-snag c lothing.  \n\nEveryone welcome.
