SUMMARY:Oswaldtwistle Heritage Walk and Coffee Morning with SVCA
DESCRIPTION:Join our Brookside Restoration Coordinator Alice and the Stanhill Village Community Association for a guided walk through the rich history of Oswaldtwistle\, followed by a hot drink and a chat at the Stanhill Methodist Church. \nWe will be meeting a 9:45am at the James Hargreaves Memorial Garden ready for a 10am start. PROSPECTS staff will be in orange hi-vis. \nThe route will be on paths\, some of which are surfaced and some of which are soil. We will be taking a leisurely pace with plenty of stops to discuss the fascinating heritage of the area. Regrettably\, the site is not yet wheelchair accessible – this is something we are fully committed to improving! \n\nAll ages welcome but under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.\nPlease wear suitable outdoor clothes (long trousers and walking boots are optimal)\nWell behaved dogs are welcome for the walk portion of the event\, but must be kept on leads at some points on the route and may not come into the Church.\n\nThere are no toilets on the route\, but there are facilities at the Methodist Church. \nTo find out more or confirm your attendance\, please contact Alice at alice.pooley@prospectsfoundation.org.uk\, telephone 01254 230348\, or call into the Prospects office at 54 Broadway\, Accrington\, BB5 1EW.
