DESCRIPTION:Join our Community TreeACTION Officer Helen for a practical session adding mulch mats to new trees at Woodnook Vale in Accrington. This will prevent the young trees from being outcompeted by surrounding vegetation such as grass\, rushes and brambles. \nWe will be meeting at the Royds Street entrance to Woodnook Vale LNR (next to a carved bench)\, Accrington\, BB5 2LW. Staff will be in orange hi-vis. \n\nNo experience is necessary – just bring your enthusiasm!\nAll ages welcome.
