SUMMARY:Weekly Butterfly Survey at Peel Park and the Coppice LNR
DESCRIPTION:Join us every Tuesday until the end of September for our weekly butterfly monitoring surveys as part of the UKBMS – one of the longest running insect monitoring schemes in the world! \nThe guided walk will be led by our Project Officer\, Robert Gabryszak and will involve a gentle stroll around Peel Park and the Coppice LNR recording all of the butterfly species that we see. Don’t worry if you have no knowledge on UK butterfly’s – we have guides and will provide some tips and tricks that will make you an expert in no time! \nWe will be meeting at the Bowling Green Car Park\, off the top of Peel Park Avenue\, BB5 6HL. Staff will be wearing orange high-vis. \nAll ages welcome\, under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult. The transect will take between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours to walk.
