SUMMARY:Jubilee Woodland - Green Team Volunteering
DESCRIPTION:Join our ‘Green Team’ of conservation volunteers led by our Green Spaces staff members: Helen\, Brandon & Chloe. \nThis week we will be continuing with the wildflower meadow creation project we started last year. This will involve cutting back the recent spring growth and using rakes to remove cuttings from the future meadow. Native wildflowers require low nutrient soil to thrive\, so removing nutrients in the form of cuttings will promote growth. \nWe will be meeting by the school on Hollins Lane\, BB5 2LD. There is on street parking available.
