SUMMARY:Jackhouse Nature Reserve - Green Team Volunteering
DESCRIPTION:Join our ‘Green Team’ of conservation volunteers led by our Green Spaces staff members: Helen\, Brandon & Chloe. \nTasks may include cutting back paths\, improving access and scything. We will provide gloves\, high-vis and hand sanitiser. Make sure to wear sturdy boots\, a long sleeved top and long trousers as we will be working around nettles and brambles. The ground is uneven at times and the paths are narrow. \nThere is VERY limited parking on Pot House Lane so we suggest parking on Broadfield and walking down Pot House Lane to meet us at the gates to the nature reserve. The walk takes 10-15 minutes so please take this into account when planning the journey. Staff will be in orange hi-vis. \nTo find out more or confirm your attendance contact Helen at helen.earnshaw@prospectsfoundation.org.uk\, telephone 01254 230348 or call into the Prospects office at 54 Broadway\, Accrington.
