SUMMARY:WOODY (at Rothwell Heights)
DESCRIPTION:Woody\, our woodland management social enterprise will be working up at a Forest School site at Rothwell Heights in Accrington. \nThe site is predominately Ash woodland and the intention by the Borough Council which owns the site is to gradually increase the diversity of the trees in the woodland as Ash dieback starts to have an effect. \nUnfortunately\, if the woodland isn’t managed then all the Ash trees may eventually go. \nOn Friday we will be thinning some of the woodland in order to make space for the tree planting event on site on Saturday 23rd November. \nOn Saturday 23rd November other varieties of trees will be planted in the gaps made by the thinning today. \nIf you would like to join us please contact Mike Stapleford on 01254-230348 ext 205 or by e-mail at mike.stapleford@prospectsfoundation.org.uk \n  \nWOODY (at Rothwell Heights)
