SUMMARY:Woodnook Vale - Overhanging Branch Management
DESCRIPTION:Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. \n\n\nThis week we will be at Woodnook Vale LNR carrying out some site maintenance. We will be using pole pruners to cut away overhanging branches that pose a risk to passer-by’s or that need removing to promote tree health. \nWe will be having a tractor onsite at Jubilee meadow this day\, which may well need guards to prevent loose dogs from entering its space. If this is the case\, we will be changing the session to tree seed collection at Jubilee woodlands\, wherein I will guard the tractor. \nPlease note if we are going ahead with the overhanging branch management steel-toe capped boots are essential for the session.
