DESCRIPTION:Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week\, we will be at Whinney Hill woodland continuing with the dead-hedging started in February. \n\nTasks include using loppers and axes to fashion stakes from the arisings created during the last session. Secondary tasks include small tree felling on over-abundant and diseased alder trees to create more material. \n\nTools\, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots\, long sleeves and full length trousers. \nWe will be meeting at the Livingstone Road allotments\, BB5 5BS (Just next to the Livingstone Road allotments). There is parking available in the cark park.
