SUMMARY:Jubilee - Hyndburn's Woodlands
DESCRIPTION:Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week\, we will be at Jubilee woodland carrying out some meadow maintenance. Tasks include using scythes to clear the meadow and using rakes to clear away the arisings. Please note other PROSPECTS staff will be at this event utilising the brushcutter. \nTools\, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots\, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles. Waterproofs may be needed\, depending on the weather. Please remember to bring spare water this activity can be quite demanding. \nWe will be meeting along Hollins Lane\, BB5 2QY (Just after The Hollins School). Staff will be in orange high-vis.
