SUMMARY:Whinney Hill - Hyndburn's Woodlands
DESCRIPTION:Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week\, we will be back at Whinney Hill woodland making access improvements at the pond end of Whinney Hill. Tasks include scything the pond area\, cutting back vegetation and generally opening up the area. \nTools\, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots\, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles. Waterproofs may be needed\, depending on the weather. Please remember to bring spare water this activity can be quite demanding. \nWe will be meeting along Livingstone Road\, BB5 5BS (Just next to the allotments) . Staff will be in orange high-vis.
