SUMMARY:MILLENNIUM BABY WOODLAND WORK DAY
DESCRIPTION:Join the Clayton & Altham Prospects Panel as they spend half a day looking after the Millennium Baby Woodland. \nThe woodland was planted back in 2002 to commemorate all babies born in Hyndburn in the year 2000.  The Panel intends to hold a celebration event in September 2021 to mark the 21st anniversary and this event is leading up to that. \nJobs to be done include removing the plastic mulch mats and tree guards and cutting back overhanging branches and reinstating the entrance footpath ramp. \nThe event will start at 10.00am and will last till about 1.00pm. \nHERE is a Google Map link to the woodland entrance which is also adjacent to the United Utilities Martholme site. \nSee below for a map showing the location.  Click on the map to open up a bigger map. \nThere is no parking on site so please park carefully on Burnley Road or the kerb at the entrance to the United Utilities Martholme Waterworks.  Please keep the works entrance clear! \n \nMILLENNIUM BABY WOODLAND WORK DAY
