SUMMARY:Memorial Park - Woodland Management Training
DESCRIPTION:Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions\, every Wednesday at Memorial Park in Great Harwood. \nThis week\, we will be undertaking some woodland management training. We will be learning how to select trees for felling works in order to promote more light penetration into the understory and how to use arisings to create habitat for wildlife. \n\n\nTools\, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots\, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles. Waterproofs may be needed\, depending on the weather. \nWe will be meeting on Church Lane\, Great Harwood\, BB6 7PU.
