SUMMARY:Lower Barnes Street - Green Team Volunteering
DESCRIPTION:Join our ‘Green Team’ of conservation volunteers led by our Green Spaces staff members: Helen\, Brandon & Chloe. \nThis week we will be following up on the trees that were planted in March by adding mulch mats. This will prevent the young trees being outcompeted by surrounding vegetation such as grass\, rushes and brambles. \nWe will be meeting on Lower Barnes Street\, Clayton-le-moors\, Accrington\, BB5 5SW (further down from Horizon Foam). From there it will be a short walk across the field to the planted site.
