SUMMARY:Jubilee - Hyndburn's Woodlands
DESCRIPTION:Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week\, we will be back at Jubilee woodland continuing with the maintenance of the wildflower meadow. Tasks include a small amount of scything\, followed by the raking off of any grass/cut material. After the meadow is cleared from vegetation we will be sowing Yellow rattle seeds. \nTools\, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots\, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles. Waterproofs may be needed\, depending on the weather. Please remember to bring spare water this activity can be quite demanding. \nWe will be meeting along Hollins Lane\, BB5 2QY (Just after The Hollins School). Staff will be in orange high-vis.
