SUMMARY:Huncoat East - Hyndburn's Woodlands
DESCRIPTION:Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week\, we will be back at Huncoat East continuing with the path scraping and maintenance. Tasks include using spades to scrape material off the paths\, using loppers and bow saws to cut back encroaching trees\, and carrying out a litter pick. \nTools\, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots\, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles. Waterproofs may be needed\, depending on the weather. Please remember to bring spare water this activity can be quite demanding. \nWe will be meeting along Altham Lane\, BB5 5US (At the layby just after the motorway bridge) . Staff will be in orange high-vis.
