DESCRIPTION:Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week\, we will be at Huncoat East woodland carrying out some pathway maintenance (scraping vegetation off the path) along with cutting back encroaching vegetation. \nTools\, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots\, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles. Waterproofs may be needed\, depending on the weather. Please remember to bring spare water this activity can be quite demanding. \nWe will be meeting at the Laybys on Altham Lane\, BB5 5US (just after the motorway bridge) . Staff will be in orange high-vis. There is parking available in the laybys.
