DESCRIPTION:Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions\, this week we will be at Huncoat East woodland carrying out a Woodland Condition Assessment to assess the qualities of the woodland. \nTools\, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots\, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles. Waterproofs may be needed\, depending on the weather. Please remember to bring warm items of clothing e.g.\, hats\, gloves\, extra thick socks\, spare fleeces/jackets. \nWe will be meeting on Altham Lane\, BB5 5US (Just after the motorway bridge). Staff will be in orange high-vis. There is parking available at the two laybys near to the woods.
