DESCRIPTION:Join our Brookside Development Office Alice for a Bat Walk at Brookside! We will meet at the Stanhill Road Entrance\, by the noticeboard\, before heading into the site to listen out for bats using special devices. These bat detectors convert bat calls to a frequency that humans can hear\, and you’ll be amazed how many we find as the sun sets! \nThis particular event is aimed at those 12 and over. Parents of little ones\, we have many family friendly bat walks planned for the autumn\, don’t worry! \n\nThis event is aimed at over 12s. Any under 18s must be supervised by an adult\nPlease wear suitable\, warm outdoor clothes and sturdy boots (wellies are advised)\nThe route will be on paths but these can be boggy and rutted. The route is unsuitable for mobility aids.\nHead torches and handheld torches are advantageous.
